This week we all oohed and ahhed over having girls. Don’t worry; in the future we will talk all about the joys of having little boys as well! Jenny talked about her SEVEN daughters and what she taught them and learned from them. Vanessa wrote about how she is a little lost on how to raise daughters, but shared what she thinks she has learned so far. Rebecca wrote about her little love, her daughter Lydia. Cindy wrote about following her instincts while raising her two daughters.
We thought we would end this week by sharing the “Young Women’s Motto” from our church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
We are daughters of our Heavenly Father, who loves us, and we love Him.
We will “stand as witnesses of God at all times and in all things,
and in all places” (Mosiah 18:9) as we strive to live
the Young Women values, which are:
Faith
Divine Nature
Individual Worth
Knowledge
Choice and Accountability
Good Works
Integrity and
Virtue.
We believe as we come to accept and act upon these values,
we will be prepared to strengthen home and family, make and keep sacred covenants,
receive the ordinances of the temple, and enjoy the blessings of exaltation.
